Hi. I've been brewing mead for about a year now and I think I could take my mead to a whole new level by carbonating some of them. However, I do not know where to begin. I don't want to create "bottle bombs" by bottling before fermentation is completely finished. I also am not at a level to purchase a kegging system for forced carbonation. Are there other ways to safely do this? I know in beer they use sugar drops but these won't work if you fermented to whatever your max alcohol level is, correct? Or can you force carbonate another way? Say a soda stream machine? Thank you for your time!
